Squad up with a friend
If you need a break from your plucky adventure, more fun awaits with additional modes. Team up with a friend on the same system in Story and Mission modes. You’ll even have two additional Pikmin types at your disposal: the mighty Purple Pikmin, and the fast and sharp-sighted White Pikmin!

– Journey through the main Story Mode in two-player co-op on the same console. Control a hero each and lead Alph, Brittany and Charlie onward!
– Complete unique challenges alone or co-operatively in Mission Mode – which includes all DLC from the Wii U version!

Bingo Battle
For some friendly multiplayer competition, you can go head to head in Bingo Battle, where you use Pikmin to retrieve items on your bingo card before your opponent does.

Set your pace
A variety of difficulty settings will help you find the way you like to play. Expand your exploration with an enhanced lock-on targeting system, enemy balancing changes, multiple difficulty modes, optional hints and more. With less pressure, you’ll have more time to strategically command your Pikmin and take in the lush scenery. If you’re a seasoned explorer, up the challenge with the new “Ultra-Spicy” difficulty mode that’ll really push you and your Pikmin to the limit!
